Career.Place’s Offers Webinar "Navigating the Path to Diversity in Hiring"

Webinar to offer a step-by-step plan to achieving a diverse and inclusive hiring program

6/18/19 – Austin, Texas – Career.Place, removing bias one hire at a time, announced a webinar titled "Navigating the path to diversity in hiring" that will be presented on July 10, 2019.

“Too many companies think that the fix to their diversity issues is bringing in employee's that "fit" a certain checkbox; like hiring more females, or minorities, or whatever. Diversity starts in the hiring process, and is not, nor should it ever be, a process to hire people who "fit" a certain checkbox,” said Melissa Dobbins, CEO Career.Place. “If the hiring process is kept true to the definition of what diversity is, diversity will naturally occur. But, unfortunately, when diversity is defined incorrectly like it is being done today, the opportunity for diversity issues will continue and never end. This webinar will teach HR professionals how to hire with the true definition of diversity in mind so that they will meet their diversity goals today and into the future.”

The class will be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 9am, EST. This class is part of SHRM Certification and will provide 1 PDC. For more information and to sign-up, click here.

ABOUT MDG2 TECHNOLOGIES

MDG2 Technologies, dba career.place, formed in 2016, removes bias from the hiring process and brings diversity and compliance through a SaaS based solution. Applicants move through an anonymous, consistent, and semi-automated career.place hiring funnel, with employers (HR, D&I, TA execs, & recruiters) advancing candidates when they meet the needs of the company or are removed from consideration when they do not qualify. Applicants that prove they are qualified for the position exit the funnel and move forward with a company’s final stage hiring process.
